About MalikTimes
What MalikTimes Is
MalikTimes is a digital news publication focused on startup news, funding rounds, IPO markets, and AI developments in India. Every article ties back to one underlying theme: the business of digital India — how companies are funded, how they scale, and what happens when they eventually go public.
I started MalikTimes because most startup coverage I was reading fell into one of two traps — repeating a company’s press release without questioning it, or burying the story in jargon a reader outside finance couldn’t follow. MalikTimes sits in the middle: accurate enough for the industry, clear enough for someone new to it.
Editorial Philosophy
Report what’s verifiable, flag what isn’t, and never dress up a company’s own claims as MalikTimes’ independent findings.
Who It’s For
Founders, angel investors, VCs, retail IPO watchers, operators tracking AI, and anyone who wants Indian business news without the wire-copy rewrite.

In My Own Words
Why I Built MalikTimes
I built MalikTimes because I was tired of choosing between two bad options: wire copy that read like a press release with the serial numbers filed off, or forum speculation with no sourcing at all.
What I wanted was something in between — a funding round explained in terms of what it means for a company’s runway, not just the headline number; an IPO tracked with the same rigor whether it’s a mainboard listing everyone’s talking about or an SME issue almost nobody covers.
MalikTimes is still, at its core, a small operation. That’s by design for now — it means every piece that goes up has actually been read and checked by someone who cares whether it’s right, not just whether it’s fast.

Editorial Standards
MalikTimes flags articles where figures come from company statements rather than independently verified filings — a deliberate choice, not a formality. Readers should know the difference between “the company says” and “we confirmed.”
- Accuracy — figures sourced from filings, statements, or named reports, with the source stated.
- Fact-Checking — unverifiable claims are labeled as such. See the Fact-Checking Policy.
- Original Reporting — interviews conducted directly, not aggregated.
- Transparency — corrections documented, not silently edited. See the Corrections Policy.
- User-First Publishing — see the full Editorial Policy and Disclaimer.
