Why This Page Exists

I’m a Contract Lawyer, and one thing I tell every client is this: general information is never a substitute for advice about your specific situation. That’s exactly what this page is for — to be upfront about what this website can and can’t do for you, before you rely on anything you read here.

1. This Website Is Informational, Not Legal Advice

Everything on parvezali.me — including blog posts, service descriptions, and FAQ answers — is written to help you understand common legal concepts like NDAs, business agreements, and Terms & Privacy Policy requirements. None of it is tailored legal advice for your specific circumstances, and none of it should be treated as a substitute for a proper consultation.

Laws change, and how a particular clause or agreement applies can shift significantly based on your industry, your state, and the specific facts of your situation. If you’re making a decision that affects your business or a legal dispute, please talk to me directly, or another qualified lawyer, before acting on anything you’ve read here.

2. No Lawyer-Client Relationship Is Formed by Using This Site

Reading this website, submitting the contact form, subscribing to my newsletter, or emailing me a general question does not, on its own, create a lawyer-client relationship between us. That relationship begins only once I’ve formally agreed to take on your matter through a confirmed engagement.

Until that point, please don’t share sensitive or confidential details expecting the legal confidentiality that comes with a formal client relationship — that protection applies once we’ve agreed to work together, not before.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Every legal matter is different. Nothing on this website — including case studies, blog content, or descriptions of past work — is a promise or guarantee of any particular outcome for your situation. Past results don’t determine future ones.

4. Accuracy of Information

I make a genuine effort to keep the content on this site accurate and current, particularly around Indian contract law, NDA practices, and data protection requirements. That said, laws and interpretations evolve, and I don’t guarantee that every page reflects the most recent legal developments at the exact moment you’re reading it. If something feels outdated, please reach out and I’ll take a look.

5. Third-Party Links

This site links to a few other places, including MalikTimes and VelaPDF, both platforms I founded, as well as occasionally to external resources for context. I don’t control those sites once you leave parvezali.me, and their content, accuracy, and privacy practices are governed by their own terms — not this Disclaimer.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, I’m not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from reliance on general information published on this website, as distinct from advice given to you directly as a client under a formal engagement.

7. Changes to This Disclaimer

I may update this page from time to time as my practice or this website evolves. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

8. Questions
