Who we are

For 17 Years, I’ve Made Sure the Fine Print Protects You — Not Just the Other Side

I’m Parvez Ali, a Contract Lawyer from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh — and for 17 years, contracts, NDAs, and compliance documents have been the one part of running a business I never let anyone skip.

I didn’t start out wanting to write the “boring” part of business. But early in my career, I watched a founder lose control of an idea he’d spent two years building — simply because there was no NDA in place before he shared it with the “right” investor. That one moment shaped how I practice law. I stopped thinking of contracts as paperwork, and started treating them as the one thing standing between a business owner and the worst version of what could go wrong.

Seventeen years later, that’s still exactly what I do. I draft NDAs that hold up when it matters, business and founder agreements that settle disputes before they start, and Terms & Privacy Policy documents that keep websites and apps compliant with Indian data protection law — not vague templates copied from somewhere else, but documents built around what you’re actually protecting.

I work with founders launching their first product, businesses formalizing partnerships after years of handshake deals, and platforms that suddenly realize their Privacy Policy hasn’t been touched since the day the website went live. Different starting points, same outcome: clarity in writing, before there’s a reason to need it.

What sets my work apart isn’t just the years — it’s that I’ve built businesses of my own alongside this practice. I’m the founder of MalikTimes, a business and startup news platform covering funding, IPOs, and the Indian startup ecosystem, and VelaPDF, a free online PDF tools platform trusted by students, job seekers, and businesses across India to handle their documents securely. Running both means I’ve had to get contributor agreements, data privacy, and compliance right for my own companies — not just recommend it to someone else’s. When I draft your Terms & Privacy Policy, I’m not working from theory. I’ve lived on both sides of that document.

17 Years, Purpose-Built Contracts

Every NDA, agreement, and policy I draft is built around your specific business and what you actually need protected — never a generic template with your company name dropped in.

Founder-Tested, Not Just Lawyer-Approved

I’ve built two companies of my own, MalikTimes and VelaPDF. The compliance and confidentiality principles I recommend are ones I’ve had to apply to my own businesses first.

Clear Answers, No Legal Jargon Maze

You’ll understand every clause I write for you, in plain language, before you sign anything — because a contract you don’t fully understand isn’t really protecting you.

Why I Do This

My goal is simple: make sure no founder or business owner I work with ever has to say “I wish we’d gotten that in writing.

We believe in transparency, integrity, and a commitment to delivering results for our clients.

Most legal disputes I’ve seen over 17 years weren’t caused by bad intentions — they were caused by assumptions nobody wrote down. A co-founder assumed equity would be split one way; the other assumed differently. A client assumed a scope of work included revisions; the freelancer assumed it didn’t. An app collected user data without anyone checking what the law actually required.

My work exists to close that gap, before it becomes a dispute, a lawsuit, or a compliance notice. I believe in documents that are legally sound and genuinely readable — not because simplicity is a nice-to-have, but because a contract only protects you if you actually understand what it says.

Whether you’re a solo founder signing your first vendor agreement, a growing business finally formalizing a partnership that’s been running on trust, or a platform that needs its Privacy Policy to actually match what it does with user data — my mission is the same: get it in writing, get it right, and get it done in language you can stand behind.

Whether it’s an NDA before your next conversation, an agreement to protect a partnership, or a Terms & Privacy Policy your website still needs — let’s put it in writing properly, before you need it in a hurry.
